Entrance

       It's a fluorescent, oily, multi-colored and translucent entrance. Light streams through the colors and empty spaces to make it appear as if it's a door to heaven or some drug induced euphoric trip into psychedelic exploration. Luminescence permeates on the other side, as I look at it from my side, faded light going into bleak red and then nothing at all. It is clear this entrance is meant to be taken, the only barrier being a mental block of fearing the unknown. Life is like that. Unknown, beautiful, terrifying and mysterious. I decide this is the entrance to life and take the chance, the leap of faith, to see what is on the other side.
